Waiting on Wednesday

The Butterfly Clues

Penelope (Lo) Marin has always loved to collect beautiful things. Her dad's consulting job means she's grown up moving from one rundown city to the next, and she's learned to cope by collecting (sometimes even stealing) quirky trinkets and souvenirs in each new place--possessions that allow her to feel at least some semblance of home. But in the year since her brother Oren's death, Lo's hoarding has blossomed into a full-blown, potentially dangerous obsession. She discovers a beautiful, antique butterfly pendant during a routine scour at a weekend flea market, and recognizes it as having been stolen from the home of a recently murdered girl known only as "Sapphire"--a girl just a few years older than Lo. As usual when Lo begins to obsess over something, she can't get the murder out of her mind.
As she attempts to piece together the mysterious "butterfly clues," with the unlikely help of a street artist named Flynt, Lo quickly finds herself caught up in a seedy, violent underworld much closer to home than she ever imagined--a world, she'll ultimately discover, that could hold the key to her brother's tragic death.

I love a good mystery and this seems like it will be just that. Also the cover is amazing and reminds me of the butterfly effect cover. Comes out February 14, 2012. What are you guys waiting for? Leave the links to yours below :)

Review (Halloween Book): Frost

Frost
Leena Thomas’s senior year at boarding school begins with a shock: Frost House, her cozy dorm of close friends, has been assigned an unexpected roommate: confrontational, eccentric Celeste Lazar. But while Leena’s anxiety about a threat to her sanctuary proves valid, it becomes less and less clear whether the threat lies with her new roommate, within Leena’s own mind, or within the very nature of Frost House itself. Mysterious happenings in the dorm, an intense triangle between Leena, Celeste, and Celeste’s brother, and the reawakening of childhood fears, all push Leena to take increasingly desperate measures to feel safe. Frost is the story of a haunting. As to whether the demons are supernatural or psychological . . . well, which answer would let you sleep at night?

If you are looking for a good book to read for Halloween I would definitely recommend Frost by Marianna Baer. It has a great creep factor. Lately I've been a bit wary to pick up a scary book. I used to LOVE scary books, it was all I would read for a while. Now I've become a big baby when it comes to scary stories. I just can't get them out of my head after reading them. But I do love psychological thrillers that leave me thinking. This is what this book was like. I was sufficiently creeped out throughout the book. Paintings flew of the walls, there were creepy whispers and temperature differences, but it was not over done with scary scenes.

The main girl, Leena, is an average girl, nothing special. To me she wasn't someone the reader would like but they wouldn't dislike her either. I didn't connect with her and found myself wanting to shake her sometimes to make her realize what she was doing. She just didn't think about the consequences some of her actions would have. The rest of the characters weren't really jumping off the pages either except Celeste. She was the only one that was sure something was off about Frost House and had to deal with things on her own. I'm sure I would have probably reacted more like her so if I connected with anyone, it was with Celeste, even though her character does some strange things.

Overall, throughout the whole book I was creeped out wondering what was going on. I love when a mystery/scary book makes me want to rush to the end to find out what is happening. This book did just that. The ending, though, was not what I was expecting at all. I never would have guessed what was going on, but I wish there would have been more closure because in the end I was left with so many questions. I still think about what was going on in the house. So if you are looking for a book to read this Halloween that will leave you thinking, you should definitely pick this one up.

Musing Monday (2)

Musing Monday is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading!

Do you listen to audiobooks? Why, or why not?

I haven't had the chance to listen to any audiobooks but I really want to. There are so many different opinions on them. Some say they bring the story to life, others say they would rather create the characters in their minds. I think they would come in handy when I'm in my car. I drive hours everyday and that seems like the perfect time to pop in an audiobook. In fact... I think I'm going to go pick one up tomorrow from the library, let me know in the comments your favorite young adult audiobook :) I will definitely let you know what I think about it once I'm done!

If you guys would like to win an audiobook, Anna at Literary Exploration is giving away a copy of Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan in audiobook format :) Enter Here

Zoraida Córdova

She shouldn’t have trusted Brian, Laura thought. Did she really think a boy like Brian would fall for a girl who looks like her? She knew better. Her mom had always warned her not to trust beautiful boys.

In the silence broken by the creature’s stealthy steps, she felt around for something. A stick. A sword. A shrinking potion. Those things could happen, right? But there was only torched wood that crumbled under her feet.

“You’re not a screamer,” the creature growled. He crouched down, enjoying the way he made her body tense. She didn’t notice anything about his face other than his eyes, like pools of swirling lava. She grabbed at the ground for support but came away with a handful of ash. Laura couldn’t breath. In a swift motion, Laura threw her fistfuls of ashes into his eyes. She saw the open door, light flooding in as if there were a sun waiting outside. Laura ran.

The forest was still. She didn’t know where she was running but something inside her just said RUN. What was this place? A familiar smell filled her lungs—dew and honey and cinnamon. A memory was blooming in her mind. She stopped to catch her breath. Her chest was burning. Did that thing touch her? She held onto a nearby tree to stop from shaking. That’s when she heard the snap of twigs behind her.

When she whipped around there he was—another beautiful boy. Everything about him was dark—his clothes and his hair spilling in damp waves over his shoulders. Even the black pools of his eyes. He panted like he’d been running after her.

“Get away from me,” Laura said, taking a step back. Stupid move. Stupid.

The man waved his hand at the tree and the root sprung up and tripped her. “Don’t be afraid.”

The slick ground was permeating through her pants. Laura said, “You just tripped me.”

“I’m sorry. But, I’ve been searching for your since you were stolen from our realm. The human boy brought you as an offering for killing our sister, not knowing what you are. Who you are.”

She took his hand. She couldn’t not. She was magnetized to him. The sensation in her chest grew where a golden light was pulsing.

“What’s happening? Who are you?”

He drew her close and she breathed him in—cinnamon, honey—

“I’m Raven, king of this realm. And you are my lost queen.”

#

Raven led Laura through a narrow path of trees. “Your true name is Sparrow and you were my queen.
We were betrothed since birth. But someone stole you away and took you to the human realm. I never realized you’d been so close all this time.”

Laura remembered walking through the woods when she was little. She’d see flashes of light but her mom always told her it was her eyes playing tricks on her. How could her eyes be playing tricks? Everything she sees is real. Brian pushing her in the pond was really real.

“What about that creature?” she asked.

“My brother, Feign. He wasn’t supposed to frighten you. But he can’t help it.”

She let her fingers slide in his. This is what she wanted. She wanted someone to fill her with this warmth, this light. She was a queen. She wasn’t going to be alone anymore.

“This is the court,” Raven said. He stood up on a dais. A massive golden tree slouched close to the ground to form a throne. Bright red fruit grew from its skinny branches. That’s when they started coming out—more creatures. They peeked from behind trees, rocks, and anywhere in-between. Laura noticed the blood on their hands. The dirt caked on their clothes. The hallow shadows under their eyes. The bruises on their flesh. Not all of them were as beautiful as Raven.

Before she could ask what had happened to them, somebody screamed. The scream shook the forest. Raven’s brother, Feign, marched in. He led Brian and Amanda in two bronze leashes. Burn marks spread up to their chins where the chain was tied around their necks. Amanda held her hand over the blood dripping down her eye.

“Laura?” Brian said. His voice was scratchy. His hair matted with dirt and blood. “Laura help. I’m so sorry. I never meant–”

“Her name is Sparrow,” Raven said.

No, Laura thought. It’s Laura. She remembered the times Amanda had picked on her. The times she ate alone in the bathroom to get away from them. Crying in her bedroom. Her mother telling her she was beautiful, that’s why the other girls were so jealous. It wasn’t that bad. It didn’t mean Amanda deserved this.

Raven’s grip tightened. She tried to pull away but he squeezed. The court laughed, clinking icicles carried by the wind.

“They are here to face their punishment for killing my sister,” Raven said.

“What will be their punishment?” Laura asked.

His smile was cruel. “To celebrate your return I’ve decided, what better way to inaugurate you as queen than to give you the honor of the trial?”

A tiny gray creature with thin gray wings walked up to him, presenting a long silver sword.
Laura shut her eyes, cursing herself. It wasn’t the beautiful boys. It was her.
“Here you are my love,” Raven said, placing her hands around the hilt. “Kill them.”

    Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

    Glimmer
What if you forgot your identity and had to rely on other people to tell you who you were?   And what if to discover your true self, you first had to unravel a mystery so big and terrifying you were not sure you’d survive solving it? When Marshall and Elyse wake up in each other’s arms with zero memory of how they got there or who they are, it’s the start of a long journey through their separate pasts and shared future. Terrified by their amnesia, the two make a pact to work together to find the answers that could jog their missing memories. As they piece together clues, they discover they’re in the idyllic mountain resort town of Summer Falls, where everyone seems mysteriously happy, but as Marshall and Elyse quickly learn, darkness lurks beneath the town’s perfect facade. Not only is the town haunted by sinister ghosts, but none of its living inhabitants retain bad memories of anything—not the death of Marshall’s mom, not the hidden shame in Elyse’s family, not even the day-to-day anguish of high school. Lonely in this world of happy zombies, Marsh and Elyse fall into an intense relationship...but the secrets they uncover could be the death of this growing love—and the death of everyone, and everything, they love in Summer Falls.
Expected publication: April 17th 2012 by Balzer + Bray

I can't wait for this book. The concept is fascinating, I mean "happy zombies"? How awesome. I like the tag line, "In Summer Falls, Perfection Has A Price". The cover is typical girl on cover but I still like it. I really can't wait to be able to read this book!

Top Ten Books Whose Titles Or Covers Made Me Buy It

The Iron Thorn (Iron Codex, #1) A Great and Terrible Beauty (Gemma Doyle, #1) Halo (Halo, #1) Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

    • The Iron Thorn just captured my attention. The way she's looking and how she is grabbing on to her clothes. Everything just makes me look twice.
    • A Great and Terrible Beauty- I love the corset she is wearing and how it is not just your typical girl in a dress.
    • Halo- The sun peeking in through her wings gives it a touch of light. I love how you can't see who the characters are, just silhouettes.
    • Across the Universe- It's sparkly!!! Plus if you didn't already know, the cover is reversible.
    • The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer- This could go with the titles that captured my attention too. I really like how it is underwater and also how you can't really tell if he is holding her up or pulling her down.

Top 5 Awesome Titles I Own:
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side (Jessica, #1) The DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) A Scary Scene in a Scary Movie Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) The Mockingbirds (The Mockingbirds, #1)

    • Jessica's Guide to Dating the Dark Side- It just gives off the sense of being a fun read.
    • The DUFF (designated ugly fat friend)- With a name like that, I just want to pick it right off the shelf
    • A Scary Scene in A Scary Movie (Review here)- I was just really intrigued to find out what this would be about. Sounded like a scary book.
    • Beautiful Creatures- This title just juxtaposes itself. When I think of creatures I don't necessarily think of something beautiful.
    • The Mockingbirds- From this title I get nothing which makes me want to pick it up and find out.

    Musing Monday (1)

Musing Monday is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading!

Do you judge a book by its cover?

Honestly? Yes, I do. To me the cover is a huge part of the book. I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by it's cover but...it is the first thing you see. I'm not going to pick up a book unless I'm somehow attracted to the cover. The cover doesn't necessarily have to be beautiful, it can be interesting. Just the other day someone was raving about how awesome a book was but the cover was completely bland. So, below I'm going to show you guys a few covers for books coming out in 2012 that I would definitely pick up even if I didn't know what they were about.

    Beautiful Covers
Everneath (Everneath, #1) Incarnate (Incarnate #1) A Million Suns (Across the Universe, #2) Life Is But a Dream

    Interesting Covers
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight When the Sea is Rising Red Pure (Pure #1) This Is Not a Test

This week Half-Blood releases on Tuesday and you guys will be able to win some awesome Half-Blood and Daimon bookmarks.

Daimon (Covenant, #0.5)For three years, Alexandria has lived among mortals—pretending to be like them and trying to forget the duty she'd been trained to fulfill as a child of a mortal and a demigod. At seventeen, she's pretty much accepted that she's a freak by mortal standards... and that she'll never be prepared for that duty.
According to her mother, that’s a good thing.
But as every descendant of the gods knows, Fate has a way of rearing her ugly head. A horrifying attack forces Alex to flee Miami and try to find her way back to the very place her mother had warned her she should never return—the Covenant. Every step that brings her closer to safety is one more step toward death… because she's being hunted by the very creatures she'd once trained to kill.
    The daimons have found her
Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

One lucky winner will get signed bookmarks for both books, the second place winner will get one of each but not signed and the third and fourth place winners will each get a Daimon bookmark :) They are so pretty!

    Waiting on Wednesday

    Where It Began
Gabby Gardiner wakes up in a hospital bed looking like a cautionary ad for drunk driving and lacking a single memory of the accident that landed her there. What she can remember, in frank and sardonic detail, is the year leading up to the accident.
As she takes us through her transformation from invisible girl to on-trend Girl Who Dates Billy Nash (aka Most Desirable Boy Ever), she is left wondering: Why is Billy suddenly distancing himself from her? What do her classmates know that Gabby herself does not? Who exactly was in the car that night? And why is Gabby left alone to take the fall?
Putting the pieces together will take every ounce of Gabby's strength. As she peels back the layers of her life, she begins to realize that her climb up the status ladder has been as intoxicating as it has been morally complex...and that nothing about her life is what she has imagined it to be.
    Release Date: March 6th, 2012
I love the cover the colors are fascinating. I know, typical girl on cover but at least she isn't in a dress. The book sounds like an interesting read. Lots of questions to be answered about Gabby's life. I really enjoy stories that involve an accident that leaves the person having to piece their lives back together.

What is your Waiting on Wednesday?

    Guest Post: Perfect Blogger?

I'd like to thank Audris for having me guest post on her blog. I've been contemplating doing this post for some time, and I'm kind of pleased to have an opportunity to air this topic. It's been on my mind a lot lately and it was kind of my hope to turn it into a discussion post.

         Ready? Okay, here it is:

There's no perfect blogger. There are (obviously) some who come pretty darn close, and I'm definitely not one of them. I blog because I like it, and because it's fun (which is not to say that I don't have my hair-pulling moments). I value the friendships I've made with other bloggers almost (almost) more than the books I receive for review, but that doesn't mean I never compare myself to them. I so envy Jenny's sense of humor and her awesome Cover Critiques, Missie and her gorgeous buttonry (though NOT her appalling taste in vampires), Logan and her insightful reviews and general fawesomeness, Small her loyal followers, awesome commenting and generosity...the list could go on.

At the same time, however, my friendships with these bloggers has helped me to realize that all bloggers have their strengths and weaknesses, just like in "real" life. We all have stuff with struggle with. I'm not going to go into my strengths (except to hope that I do have some) because I've always, always, hated the topic. I feel much more comfortable addressing the things that I'm self-aware enough to know I fail at. For example: Reading Challenges. My suckiness in this regard is infamous. No, seriously. People whisper about it when I walk down the street: "My two year old is better at hosting Reading Challenges than she is." It hurts.

So, I guess you could say that I've come here today to embrace the ways in which I suck. Lucky for you, I brought a list:

    1. Reading Challenges
    2. Readathons
    3. Book tours
    4. Getting back to authors
    5. Commenting on other people's blogs
Okay, I've just realized my list could go on forever, so I'd better stop while I'm ahead. What's important here is that, having identified my weaknesses, I can now move forward. The first step is admitting you have a problem, right? Oh, if only the rest of the steps were that easy! Fortunately, I already have a solution at hand for the first three. Are you ready for it?

    No Longer Participating.
See? Problem solved. I'm a Reading Challenge/Readathon/Book Tour-free blogger. Moving on to number four.
For this one I really need a backbone. I hate saying no. Especially to independently published authors. I want to be able to read their books and I want to support them, but I don't have tiiiiime. I recognize that this is because I request far more than I can read, and despite what comes in my mailbox, I can't stop acquiring more books. So how do I avoid saying no? I, erm, fail to write back. Or else I don't do it until that shiny yellow "important" star starts to take over my entire computer. Yes, I'm an awful person, and now you know it. What have I done to redeem myself? Very little. Well, actually, I read Amanda's 5 Ways to Guarantee I Will NOT Review Your Book post and, as a result, created a review request form. So far that's allowed me one guilt-free query letter-ignore. Success!
Now for number five: I'm a ginormous lurker. In fact, I lurked on the entire internet for years before I so much as took an online quiz. It's part of my essential shyness, I think. At least, that's the theory I'm sticking to Blogging in general has really helped with this, but I still obsess over each little comment before I'm able to press that submit button. In case you were wondering--yes, this does make commenting quite a chore. What have I done about this problem? Well, I did that whole #CommentPact thing, remember? I even made a button. And you know what? It's worked. My commenting has really increased. I'm not able to maintain 10 Comments a Day, but I sure do try. And it's the effort that counts. Someone told me that once. That, and my promise to myself to improve.
Anyway, thus endeth my post on blogging weaknesses. I now invite you to share your own. I promise that it will be cathartic, that I won't judge you (how could I?), and that you'll probably feel better afterward. Plus, you might laugh. Why ask for anything more?

    Geek Charming (Trailer)

A long time ago I read this book called Geek Charming. I thought it was a fun, quick read. Nothing deep or complicated, just fun. Now I was flipping through the channels and found that Disney is making a movie out of it. It isn't a big deal movie, just one of their made for t.v. movies. I'm sure it won't be great but it's always fun to see a book being made into a movie. So below I'm going to put the synopsis of the book and the trailer for the movie :)

    Geek Charming
Dylan Shoenfield is the princess of L.A.'s posh Castle Heights High. She has the coolest boyfriend, the most popular friends, and a brand-new "it" bag that everyone covets. But when she accidentally tosses her bag into a fountain, this princess comes face-to-face with her own personal frog: selfprofessed film geek Josh Rosen. In return for rescuing Dylan's bag, Josh convinces Dylan to let him film her for his documentary on high school popularity. Reluctantly, Dylan lets F-list Josh into her A-list world, and is shocked to realize that sometimes nerds can be pretty cool. But when Dylan's so-called prince charming of a boyfriend dumps her flat, her life - and her social status - comes to a crashing halt. Can Dylan - with Josh's help - pull the pieces together to create her own happily-ever-after?

    What do you guys think??

Button made by the wonderful Ivy @ Ivy Reads

Hi guys! So since you guys know my blog is called YA Bookmark and I wanted to do something with bookmarks that you guys would enjoy :) This is what came from my thinking, I will post a blurb about a book that already came out or is coming out soon and at the end I will give you guys the chance to win bookmarks for that book. How does that sound? This weeks book is Slide by Jill Hathaway.

SlideVee Bell is certain of one irrefutable truth—her sister’s friend Sophie didn’t kill herself. She was murdered.
Vee knows this because she was there. Everyone believes Vee is narcoleptic, but she doesn’t actually fall asleep during these episodes: When she passes out, she slides into somebody else’s mind and experiences the world through that person’s eyes. She’s slid into her sister as she cheated on a math test, into a teacher sneaking a drink before class. She learned the worst about a supposed “friend” when she slid into her during a school dance. But nothing could have prepared Vee for what happens one October night when she slides into the mind of someone holding a bloody knife, standing over Sophie’s slashed body.
Vee desperately wishes she could share her secret, but who would believe her? It sounds so crazy that she can’t bring herself to tell her best friend, Rollins, let alone the police. Even if she could confide in Rollins, he has been acting off lately, more distant, especially now that she’s been spending more time with Zane.
Enmeshed in a terrifying web of secrets, lies, and danger and with no one to turn to, Vee must find a way to unmask the killer before he or she strikes again.

Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

    Q. If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

I would probably go with Blair from Gossip Girl. I mean she gets to be around Chuck Bass and Dan Humphrey all the time. Plus the upper east side seem like a really awesome place to shop :) Also their parties always seem to be pretty bad ass. I probably wouldn't want to stay there for the rest of my life (too much drama) but I would love to experience it for a while.

“It’s time to spread some love beyond the borders of the Book Blogger Hop! This week, we aren’t answering a question. We are spotlighting our fellow bloggers. Find your favorite(s) author interview(s), guest post(s), book review(s), or bookish article(s) that ANOTHER BOOK BLOGGER featured on their site recently and tell us why you love it/them! As an additional challenge, find your favorite one of EACH of the categories above and spotlight all 4 (interview, guest post, review, article).”

These two are a guest post and an interview from Ivy @ Ivy Reads

Interview with author of Witch Eyes - This was  a fun interview that mixed books with passion for music and let you find out more about the author.
Guest post with Leigh Fallon author of Carrier of The Mark - I loved seeing who Leigh would choose for her dream cast for her newly released book Carrier of the Mark.

These two are reviews from Mandi @ My{reads}da and Lex @ What Books Taught Me

Review of Daughter of Smoke and Bone - Lex is a new blogger and her reviews are so unique. I really love the format she uses so you should check it out :)
Review of All These Things I've Done - I've been dying to read this book and this review just makes me want to rush out to get it even more. Now I'm really thinking of breaking my book ban to get this book!

Review: Amen, L.A. by Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld

    Amen, L.A.
When Natalie Shelton and her family move from Minnesota to Beverly Hills, more changes than their zip code. Natalie's mom accepts a position as pastor with the Church of Beverly Hills—and Natalie's along for the ride. Before she can blink, she's living in a mansion once owned by Ricardo Montalban, going to school with hot young Hollywood stars, and partying in the park with kids who know no limits. It's an amazing new life—but if she doesn't watch out, Natalie could find herself seriously messed up. Natalie has values . . . but how long can she hold on to them?
So this book was a really quick read. I picked it up and was kind of surprised at the amount of religious things in it. Yes, I know, it’s called Amen L. A. but they were comparing it to a Gossip Girl read. I guess in the sense of it focusing on the rich and famous it’s like Gossip Girl, but they focus more on their church lives.

This doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the book. I was just genuinely surprised with it. The main character, Nat, is a typical goody two shoes that goes to church, gets good grades and listens to her parents. Being uprooted and placed smack in the middle of Los Angeles where gossip, drinking and partying are the main attraction was not how she was hoping to spend the rest of her high school life. She constantly made decisions that frustrated me but she did stand up for what she believed in throughout the book. Nat has a brother and sister. Her sister is the attention seeking glamour girl and her brother is the pretty boy. There are two guys in the book, Sean and Brett, but for some reason I didn’t really connect with any of them enough to swoon. I felt like they were just any other guy. My favorite characters are Alex, the bad girl trying to reform herself and Mia, the other new girl in town. They are both true to who they are and don’t try to be like all the other people in Los Angeles.

As I said before, it was a very quick read. I loved the fashion that they brought into it. I’m a fashion kind of girl which is the main reason I used to read books like The A-List. This book brings fashion and a great plot together. There are parties, drinking, accidents, gossip, and even googling people. Amen, L.A. kept me entertained although I wish there would have been some more character development in regards to the guys in the book. I’m hoping that this book was the base of the series and the next book will be even better.

If you are looking for an entertaining book that is different from anything you have read before, be sure to pick up Amen, L.A.

    Guest Post: Haley from YA-Aholic

Hey book lovers! This is Haley and I run the book blog Ya-Aholic, you can check it out here-http://www.ya-aholic.com/ I've never done a guest post, so this may be awkward, but work with me (; I'm just gonna show you guys some of my favorite books! First I'm gonna show you guys some published books that I totally love, then I'm gonna show you some amazing indie/self published books that are incredible and great prices too! (:

    • The Iron Knight (Iron Fey#4) : I love this series! I'm pretty sure it is my favorite series, the first one is called The Iron King, so if you haven't read this series I highly recommend it, Megan is amazing, and the main men Puck and Ash are equally amazing . Julie Kagawa puts together a beautiful combination of love, adventure, action, magic, and anything else you could possibly want in a series! (:
The rest of the books are also amazing, I would recommend all of these to anyone, Iron Fey series is just extra special so it deserved it's own explanation!
    ____________________________________________________________________
Below are some of my favorite indie books, indie books I feel don't get as much attention as they deserve because their 'indie' but I have read alot of indie books that are better then some published books I have read! All of the ones below are super amazing and are some of my favorite reads!

All these books above are awesome! Coexist is story of mix paranormals such as Elves,Witches,Shap Shifters, Warlocks and so on, Captivated is about Vampires and Vampire Hunters, Unlovable is a thriller romance in alternating POV between the main girl Maggie and the main guy Seth, Descended by Blood is about Vampires with special powers, Bitter Frost is about Fea, Werewolves, and Pixies, and Dirty Blood is about Werewolves and Hunters (:

    • Each one of these are awesome and are at insanely awesome prices so if your looking for a good priced amazing read, I suggest any of the 6 above (:

Well that's all I have to say I guess, hopefully next time I do a guest post it will be a little more entertaining, and I will come more prepared ! Thank you Audris for having me here on her blog for a guest post! (:

Then this week that just passed I got:

And finally my two favorite packages I got in the mail:

Half Blood won from Ivy's 21st Birthday on her blog!
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer won from Tangled With Words

    Both signed:

Well that is it for the past two weeks, which is actually a lot considering I haven't actually bought anything.
