Top Ten Books Whose Titles Or Covers Made Me Buy It
Top 5 Awesome Covers I Own:
- The Iron Thorn just captured my attention. The way she's looking and how she is grabbing on to her clothes. Everything just makes me look twice.
- A Great and Terrible Beauty- I love the corset she is wearing and how it is not just your typical girl in a dress.
- Halo- The sun peeking in through her wings gives it a touch of light. I love how you can't see who the characters are, just silhouettes.
- Across the Universe- It's sparkly!!! Plus if you didn't already know, the cover is reversible.
- The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer- This could go with the titles that captured my attention too. I really like how it is underwater and also how you can't really tell if he is holding her up or pulling her down.
Top 5 Awesome Titles I Own:
- Jessica's Guide to Dating the Dark Side- It just gives off the sense of being a fun read.
- The DUFF (designated ugly fat friend)- With a name like that, I just want to pick it right off the shelf
- A Scary Scene in A Scary Movie (Review here)- I was just really intrigued to find out what this would be about. Sounded like a scary book.
- Beautiful Creatures- This title just juxtaposes itself. When I think of creatures I don't necessarily think of something beautiful.
- The Mockingbirds- From this title I get nothing which makes me want to pick it up and find out.
I've got A Great and Terrible Beauty and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer on my tbr list :) Nice choices!

Across the universe so damn fantastic,I didn't know it at first because I didn't see the couple on the top but when I figured it out, it became one of my favorites! do you own the hardback edition? on the inside of the jacket it so awesome! it a blue print of a space ship, epic cool! (went back & read, opps you know that!)
ReplyDeleteAgain, I never liked mara dyer cover and frankly I didn't understand why everybody did but that's BEFORE I knew there is a guy behind the girl's body pulling her up! I love it now!! definitely realized why everyone loves it;D
The DUFF is definitely one unique title!! I cant wait until I read something from Kody Keplinger.
Jessica's Guide to Dating the Dark Side also sounds awesome, I'm waiting for 2nd book to come out before I read this one though.
