*Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.*
An intense look at the rules of high school attraction -- and the price that's paid for them. It happens every year. A list is posted, and one girl from each grade is chosen as the prettiest, and another is chosen as the ugliest. Nobody knows who makes the list. It almost doesn't matter. The damage is done the minute it goes up.This is the story of eight girls, freshman to senior, "pretty" and "ugly." And it's also the story of how we see ourselves, and how other people see us, and the tangled connection of the two.

This sounds like such an interesting book. What people say to others in high school can really have an impact on them and how they view themselves and even on the rest of their lives. People can look at a person completely different because of what someone else says about them. Especially teens, they can be so cruel. I am really looking forward to this book and the different stories of the girls chosen for the list. I can't wait to see how they react and let it shape their lives.

I've heard of this book before! I don't usually go for books that are "clique" themed but I might give this one a go.
