Camelia Hammond's trying junior year of high school is finally over...but her troubles aren't. After she discovers a painful truth about her family, she escapes to a summer arts program in Rhode Island. Determined to put family - and boyfriend - drama behind her, she throws herself into her artwork.
At the arts school, she gets caught up in the case of Sasha Beckerman, a local girl who is missing. Even though all signs suggest that the teen ran away, Camelia senses otherwise. Eager to help the girl, she launches her own investigation. She finds a blog by someone named Neal Moche, a psychometric who might have clues to Sasha's whereabouts. There is something familiar about Neal, and Camelia realizes how much she misses Ben, despite being committed to Adam.
But time is running out for Sasha, and Camelia will have to trust her powers if she's to save her. Will the lessons Camelia has learned in the past give her the strength to do so?

This is the fifth book in the Touch series and I am so in love with the series. Every book is as great as the one before. I was put off from reading the first one because some of the parts were similar to Twilight but the series completely grows and evolves. It is one of my favorite series and I can't wait for this next one. Also, the covers are all so gorgeous! They all seem to go with the season in the book. If you haven't picked up the first one yet you can check out the goodreads page here.Let me know if you have read this series and what you thought! What are you guys waiting for?

OMG. I can't wait till this book comes out. Sometimes books in series go up and down but not this one. I've loved every single one!!!
ReplyDeleteI read this series and absolutely fell in love. I bought all the books after the first the day they came out. *SPOILER ALERT* I HATE that Ben is being so stupid, I understand he was upset at first and then afterwards decided to stay away from Camelia for her own good.... HAS THIS GUY NEVER READ A GOD DAMN BOOK!!!! This always happens where two people are clearly meant to be together but leave each other because they think it is best for the other. YOU ARE WRONG!! IT IS NOT THE RIGHT THING TO DO YOU IDIOT! I thought that he would have realized this considering the fact that he felt compelled to get that tattoo... I thought he would have realized that part of him knew he would be an idiot and leave Camelia so that is what drove him to get that,to show that no matter what happens, what they have is permanent just like his tattoo. I am sorry for this long rant but I have yet to meet anyone who has read these books so I had to express my hatred towards Ben's stupidity to someone. Anyway, love the series and the latest book cover! It is definitely my favorite cover so far!
ReplyDeleteLove the book cover. This whole series is amazing, and I am so excited to read this new one! It has everything I'm into...mystery, romance, and a paranormal aspect...At times, I'll get chills because of how great it is. Lol. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT YET, READ IT! THE SERIES WON'T DISAPPOINT YOU! =)
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of you, I have read the whole series over and over again and I still cant figure out why??...SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!! Ben leavesher, then tries to get back into her life, then is distant, while his girlfriend is helping his ex best friend that stole his ex that died!!!! And in Deadly Little Voices, he saves her yet AGAIN!!!! Then lets jerky Adam claim that he saved her, SHE IS SO NAIVE!!! Over all though exept for the Twilight like secens I LOVED it!!!!! I read them over & over again then repet twice again. oh why did it end so soon!!!! Read it you will NOT regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
