YA Bookmark Monthly Book Club

My friend and I decided that there are so many books we both want to read but never find the time to and something has to be done about it. We also love discussing books; characters, plot, setting, writing and what might happen next! This makes the perfect mixture for a mini book club so we decided that each month one of us is going to pick a book and at the end of the month we'll discuss it here on the blog. We'll both give our thoughts and opinions on the book after we finish it. So that's the plan. I can't wait to start the book club. If any of you have been wanting to read the book we pick for that month, you guys can join too. This month Tiffany picked the book, The Goddess Test:

The Goddess Test (Goddess Test, #1)
EVERY GIRL WHO HAS TAKEN THE TEST HAS DIED.
NOW IT'S KATE'S TURN.
It's always been just Kate and her mom--and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear that her mother won't live past the fall.
Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld--and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.
Kate is sure he's crazy--until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she suceeds, she'll become Henry's future bride and a goddess.
IF SHE FAILS...

I have been wanting to read The Goddess Test for such a long time. I remember I first heard about this book around the same time I first started this blog so I really think it's time to finally read it. I love mythology so I hope this lives up to the expectations. If you guys would like to join us this month let me know in the comments (although we might actually be the last two people on this planet that haven't read this yet). I would love to hear your thoughts on The Goddess Test!
