Recalled by Cambria Hebert (Death Escorts, #1)
Publication date: February 15th, 2013
Genre: New Adult Romance with paranormal, thriller and mystery elementsLove or Death? A simple question really. The choice seems obvious. But. What if you never knew love, what if your life was spent just trying to survive? What if you knew your fate before you were fully grown?
And then you died.
And you were given another chance. A better chance.
This new life depended upon one thing: your job. And so you agreed. You thought it would be simple. You thought it would be cut and dry.
It never is.
And now you are left holding the fate of someone else in the palm of your hand and you have to make the ultimate choice.
Love or Death?

Today I have Cambria Hebert here to talk about a cool Ice Museum that her characters visit in Recalled! It looks awesome!

Ice
Museum in Alaska
When
I was researching the setting of Alaska for Recalled, I knew I wanted to do
something fun, something that was uniquely Alaska. And also something that was
cold. Lol.
I
set out on the great web… gotta love Google… and I came across and Ice Museum.
Now
I am not talking about some building with some ice sculptures in it. That would
be cool but this is so much more. Everything in this place is made of ice. And
I mean everything.
They
have a bar that is completely made of ice. The martini glasses? They're made of
ice too. Need a seat? The chairs are ice.
It’s
like an entire house with bedrooms… you guessed it the beds are made of ice.
Lol. And they have ice sculptures as well… and everything has lights. Colored
lights that make everything glow.
When
people visit there they have to wear layers of clothes and coats because its
kept so cold to keep it all from melting.
Here
is a look at the outside:
And
here are some photos of what the inside looks like:
Doesn’t
look to cozy for sleeping does it?? LOL
Amazing isn’t it? The museum is
carved by a husband and wife team who are world championship ice sculptors
(didn’t know you could be a champion in that did you?).
The website for the resort, Chena
Hot Springs Resort, where this is located goes into better detail about what is
inside this awesome, icy palace:
“Within the museum, they have created a two story observation tower with a circular staircase, life size jousters on horse back, a polar bear bedroom, a Christmas tree bedroom, a kid's snowball 2 story fort, an igloo and an ice outhouse among other pieces of ice art and additional chambers made exclusively with our Alaska Diamond or Alaska Marble ice.”

It’s
definitely one of the most unique places I have ever found while scrolling
through the internet. Be sure to read Recalled
to find out what happens to Dex and Piper inside the museum!
So
what about you, would you visit this icy place?
There's also a giveaway going on for a Kindle Fire! You can enter here:
