I'm always watching beauty channels on YouTube and some of my favorite videos are their "What's in my Bag" videos. So that, mixed with the huge book nerd that I am, makes me so excited to have author, A. C. Gaughen here today with what's in her purse!

*A giant bag of Harney and Sons Paris tea (best ever), and the travel mug where they usually end up.
*A manatee tea steeper (a manatea) for when I need loose leaf action.

*My weekly agenda (Moleskine)
*A notebook for class
*A hair fork printed with KNIGHTLEY—I also have one stamped EMMA but I lost it, so now I tend to wear it with a CHA CHA CHA hair fork. I have a bunch. I love them!
*Mace. Don’t worry—I also have a permit for it. My brother made me fill out the application and buy it when I started an overnight job in downtown Boston. It actually freaks me out carrying it in my bag—I’m always afraid I’m going to set it off accidentally.
*However, this doesn’t stop me from carrying a knife—a Scottish knife, actually, called a sgian dubh, part of the traditional Scottish dress—which I only have in my bag because I was using it to open Amazon boxes! I swear to God I’m not weirdly armed when leave the house.
*Headphones
*Airbourne! Because seriously, people. Immune health is important!
