This was a YA contemporary romance that definitely had its ups and downs. It follows a girl named Juliet who has it all, a perfect family, a lovely boyfriend, and a plan for the next few important upcoming years of her life. But that all ends when her dad moves out and things start spiraling downward for the family.
I really liked the lesson that was given through this story: do want you want to do and follow your dreams and don't go down a path just because someone else wanted you to. Live your life. Don't let someone else live it for you. I thought this was a great lesson, especially in YA since many teens are brought into many different decisions because that's what other people wanted them to do.
I didn't like the cheating that went on. I don't agree at all with cheating on someone when you are in a relationship, especially for four years! That part got on my nerves but it was also a lesson and a turning point in the story.
Overall, I did enjoy it but found a few problems with it that didn't make me love it. It definitely isn't a happy go lucky fluffy contemporary though (some parts of the book are though) so just be aware of that before going into it.

I love the cover of the book <3 I hate it when someone cheats on their boyfriend/girlfriend in a book! If you want to be with someone else, then you should break up with the person and then go and do whatever you want with the other person. I'm glad you enjoyed this book. Great review!
