Welcome May!

A lot has happened this past month, so let me just catch up for a little bit with you guys. I took all my finals and *crosses fingers* I'm very happy with my grades. This semester has been one of the hardest as a result of my French minor. There were days when I wanted to burst into tears so finishing is an accomplishment.

Now, on to happier things that actually pertain to this blog, I finally upgraded all of my technology. So now I'm the proud owner of a macbook pro and an iPhone 5. This should really help me out when it comes to blogging and staying organized. But I don't want to make any promises so we'll just take it day by day.

I only read one full book last month:

It was so much fun. Typical Rachel Hawkins, so if you're a fan of her Hex Hall series, don't hesitate to pick this one up as soon as it comes out!

And here's what I might be reading this month:

The Last Academy by Laura Howard
The Forgotten Ones by Anne Applegate

Across the Universe by Beth Revis
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour
Once in a Full Moon by Ellen Schreiber
Renegade by J.A. Souders
Peace, Love and Baby Ducks by Lauren Myracle
Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols
Abandon by Meg Cabot
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
How Zoe Made Her Dreams (Mostly) Come True by Sarah Strohmeyer
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I know I'll never read all of these but this is the list I want to choose from this month. Have you guys read any of these? In the comments I would love it if you let me know what book you brought in the new month with.

Oh! Also, yesterday was my mom's birthday and we went to Disney World, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! <3

  2. Happy belated birthday to your mom. It must have been really hot there, because we went to Magic Kingdom at the end of December, it was snowing here where I live, in Orlando it was twenty something degrees celcius or maybe a bit lower, I dont remember exactly, and then we went to Miami where it was 35 on the day we left, so I can only imagine how hot it must be now since its May.

From your list I read: The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris, and Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

It's best for many people not to ask me about The Iron King because unlike many people, I didn't enjoy it as much, it's basically 3 out of 5 stars for me, but everyone else loved it, I'm the black sheep for that one, I think it's mostly because so many people recommended the series and I had really high expectations and because the main character annoyed me, plus I know how it's going to end and I like Puck better than Ash, I don't see why so many people love him.
Anyways, Unraveling is really good, I just read it in March and I loved it, the second book is out and I can't wait to read. If you like mysteries and suspense, then you might love it.
I also loved Onyx as well, so good.

I thought I was the only one that didn't read Clockwork Angel yet, glad that I'm not alone.
