Epic Recs: February 2014

Epic Recs is hosted by Amber from Books of Amber and Judith from Paperiot. It started off as a feature where they could recommend each other some of their favorite books. However, they recently opened it to the public and even more recently they decided that if you wanted to participate but didn't have a partner, they would pair you up.

I thought this was a great way to meet some new bloggers so I decided to sign up and was paired up with Jennifer from Live to Read, Love to Read.

For February, I gave Jennifer a few options and she said she was in the mood for a fun book so my recommendation is:

Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

I adore this series. It's very high up there in my favorite-series-ever list because I know that when I need a quick pick me up, Hex Hall does the job. It's just a blast and it's full of twists and likable characters so I really hope Jennifer enjoys it!

Jennifer's recommendation is:

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass

I can't stress enough how much I've been wanting to read this book. I bought a copy mid year last year and never picked it up. I don't know why I've been putting it off, especially since everyone raves about it and it sounds like an incredible fantasy, but I'll be reading it this month.
