Interview the Bloggers: Lucy Edition

This week for Interview the Bloggers, we will be interviewing Lucy. Lucy is totally awesome and such a great person! We are always chatting on Twitter and I am glad to have her on the blog. She blogs over at Things Lucy Reads. Definitely be sure to check out her blog once you're done reading this!

Interview Questions:

1. Describe yourself using five words.

Lucy: Friendly, Honest, Book-Worm, TV-Lover, and Dreamer.

2. What five books are on the top of your "wishlist" for books you want to own at the moment?

Lucy: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Nowhere but here by Katie McGarry
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

3. Take a picture of three things that describe you. (ex: remote if you love TV, etc.)

Lucy:

4. What is your favorite genre and why?

Lucy: YA/NA Fantasy is currently my favorite. I love becoming immersed in a completely new world where the sky is the limit. I love having dragons, fairies, and any other creature the author can come up with. Sometimes it's just nice to go to a new land and just dream a little.

5. Who are your favorite singers and/or bands?

Lucy: I listen to country music mainly, but I enjoy everything really. I like Chase Rice, Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Brantley Gilbert, etc.

6. If you could meet any author, dead or alive, who would you meet? You would be having dinner with them and you would be able to get your books signed.

Lucy: Tough Question!! I would have to say Sarah J Maas. I just finished ACOTAR and I would love to discuss the book with her. Maybe I could get some details on the sequel. ;)

7. Which five books are on the top of your TBR list at the moment?

Lucy: The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
Legend by Marie Lu
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

8. What is your favorite reading snack and/or drink?

Lucy: I'm a huge tea drinker! I love peach and raspberry tea the most. :) So usually I'm drinking tea and eating something non-greasy/sticky like popcorn. :)

And we're done!

Thanks again, Lucy for agreeing to do this interview! It was a lot of fun and I really liked all of your answers. P.S. Legend is so good. ;)

Definitely be sure to check out Lucy's blog and she can also be found on Twitter here. Hope you guys enjoyed our second interview and are excited for future ones to come!

  2. This is definitely cool and she wants to read The Wrath and the Dawn so I highly encourage her to read that. Love this and I tried interviewing bloggers but like I just couldn't think of interesting questions.
