Why Am I Excited?
"For fans of The Princess Bride"...well, I'm going to start off with a huge disclaimer, I don't love The Princess Bride. I own two copies, my best friends are absolutely obsessed and can recite ever line, I've been forced to watch it plenty of times, yet I still don't enjoy it. But these three authors are seriously making me doubt myself. Cynthia Hand is high up there on my list of all time favorite authors, I've read and loved every single thing she has written. She seems to write the most emotional, gripping stories, so I'm ready to read something more comical from her. The other two authors, Jodi Meadows and Brodi Ashton are also fantastic writers and I can't wait to see what they bring to this story. Also, that gorgeous cover totally helps.
See at the same time, I LOVE the Princess Bride so the comparison makes me a bit worried because there is probably no way it could ever live up to it's awesomeness. Still, I'm excited for this one as well! My WoW
